Ol' reliable was finally replaced yesterday afternoon. She is looking for another good home. This car has always started on first crank (summers and winters) and still runs smooth and strong. Good little city car.

1988 Toyota Tercel 2 door coupe, 5 speed, 161,000 miles. PS, PB. Clutch good. Has AC, but needs work. Obvious dings, scratches, etc for being a city scooter. No smoke from exhaust, minor oil leaks from oil pan, minor rust in fenders. Compression test within last year showed all cylinders were within 10% of eachother, cold. Still 25 MPG city, 30 Highway. Porsche crest on rear bumper;)

Recent VA emissions
Regular Oil changes
New exhaust from manifold back within last year
New alternator, starter, waterpump, drivebelts within last year
Battery replaced 2 years ago
Tires replaced 2 years old
Shocks replaced 3 years ago

Asking $500 OBO.

PM or call 703-244-2490

Good news Charlie! My 88 civic will be for sale soon, sounds like your car was in a little better shape. My A/C works though. :)

My A/C works though.

You know what, I never used it as the hot-cold slider has 'issues' and would always blow luke warm air. Noah and Felicity got it working before it even left the driveway.

Good luck with your sale. (Noah, you see this)
