inspired by the first thread....
Anyone recommend how or where to get a set of lug bolts shortened by about 1/8". I have searched high and low for chromed lug bolts for my M-B. After many incorrect purchases, finally found a set that fits and looks good. Unfortunately they are a wee bit longer than OEM, they extend throught the rear wheel hub (?) and scrape on something back there ??? No problem with the front wheels..

i had a job done at allied machine shop in falls church that i was very satisfied with so i'd recommend them. in back of and below a jewelry store near dod beyer volvo. kinda hard to find and a bit of a hole-in-the-wall shop but i've heard others also say good things about them too.
