Oct. 30-31 DE at SP, still on?

Sorry if I missed the announcement. Last I heard, Eric said all Shenandoah Circuit events were cancelled through Sept. Since registration for the Oct. 30-31 DE there is coming up, I was just wondering how this is looking.

I had permission to drive around the Shenandoah circuit in the pace car with one of BSR employed instructors at the Club Race. The circuit is fully paved, still need work in the pit area and buildings/restrooms etc. Will need a lot of work on safety ie tyre walls. No gravel pits to slow you down and way too much concrete barriers, really very scarry. Did the Karousel at 41-45 MPH and that is fast enough for now. They may have things complete by tha end of October for our level of speed and grip, but don't count on it.

Thanks for the report Dirk. I've heard there is enough concrete wall in the Shenandoah to make you think twice. Oh well, hopefully we can get a taste of the new track before 2005.
