Who wants to go on a fun run.........

Hey all,
I would like to invite you all to Winchester Va for a fun run to Trout Lake WV. I am willing to have a brunch @ my home or meet @ the outskirts of Winchester to START the drive. It will be a very senic run with a stop at Trout Pond WV. I think Aug 21 would be a good day weather permitting. Plan on 60 + mile round trip from Winchester. I realize this is the weekend of the club race @ Summit Point but I ain't racin.
Please respond to this post asap so I can plan for numbers.
I will be camping on Mon -Thurs so I won't be answering any responses till late Thursday.

I'd love to, but I'm driving my daughter to V-Tech that day with a U-Haul in tow. Sounds like a good plan though. The roads out that way can be fantastic, especially in the West of Winchester area. We used to come back from our lake house at Deep Creek sometimes on Route 50, and it was a hoot.

Don't be discouraged, most everyone here has their weekends planned out a month or more in advance in this group, especially when tracktime conflicts. Most of the Fun Runs I've been on (3 or 4) are a month in the planning to make sure the day is ok with everyone's schedule. Fall sounds great. My favorite run was one we had last fall when the leaves were just starting to drop.

at this point, i can't plan much, or the kids change the plans. So, sometimes, when the planets are aligned, i say, "honey.....i see nothing presssing....i'm just gonna step out for.... 3 or 4 HOURS!!!' (where'd he go already?)
