As I posted before, I am inheriting an 89 930 from my dad that has lived in Florida. It has been quite the investigation, but the car is finishing a service appointment with the local air-cooled guys in Clearwater. So, mechanically, the car will be sound when it gets to me. I drove it last Friday to them myself.

The next part of this would be having somebody clean up the car when it arrives, and for me to considering having any form of "paint correction" done, along with cleaning up and treating the interior. These are all things I only have a surface (pun intended) level understanding of, particularly when it comes to the paint which is almost entirely original.

The condition of the car is great - we have taken very good care of it and its always been garaged. But, given its value to me, I would like to have somebody knowledgeable with a less smooth brain help me out here.

Do you guys have ideas of anybody locally-ish? Maybe I am overthinking this. I just have visions of some Instagram moron with a mechanical buffer burning through original paint.

And, if anybody wants a raff, I pulled my unfinished 951 project from my garage. Its sitting on my driveway on Valley Drive in Alexandria. Can't miss it. Its very very PINK. :D
