Maybe a bit outside of the typical content here, but I figured I'd ask.
Is there a local(ish) place where I can buy a rebuilt T5 transmission? Or if anyone knows a source for a known good used unit out of an '85 to '93 V8 Mustang I'm interested.
Transmission #3 on my ~350K mile Volvo just started whining and I'm ready to be done with used stock transmissions. I've had shit luck with them on this car. The one I put in my wife's car close to a decade ago has been performing flawlessly, but mine keep shitting the bed. Gonna convert it over, but I want to do it once and be done, so I'd like to avoid a used mystery transmission from a pick n pull.
