Hey people! Long time no see. After losing a job and having to move across the country in 2014 I sold all the toys and focused on work and the then teenage daughters we have.
What are the old dorkis up to?

Karl still has the exact same cars he had when you left. Well perhaps a few changes...

Wow you still have your DE numbers on it! Looks like you are almost ready to roll.

Things are good here. Kids are getting older, my track car fell to pieces, and there is a lemon's car in a field ready to be set afire.
Donnie, you're good at that if I remember correctly! :D

ahhh, car parts in the kids room, I feel back at home now!
Glad to see everyone is still kicking.
It's funny, cars really don't burn as advertised once you remove the interior. Ready to try again though!

Ask Ben how long he had the "new-old-stock" Sekurit windshield in his bedroom!

That’s not his DE number, it’s the last year he had it on the track, 1987 :D

Will be longer, too. If it ever goes back. Wheels, tires, harnesses, helmet and Hans all needed, and not worth the $$$ until I can manage 4-5 track weekends again in a season. My weekends are largely controlled by my son's schedule.

Karting I hope?

No. No karting near us, and most places in the region look like they do not have real training for kids. He has plenty of other activities, and I have zero desire to drive long distances for my kid to drive a half dozen laps in an amusement park go-cart. Woodbridge Cart Club was a hope at one point, but they have too high a minimum age.
Anywho, never had a hope or dream that he gets into carting or racing. I fund enough stuff already, and I'm not dropping that kind of money for basically bragging rights at PTA meetings. His driving $ is going into a better sim setup. He already has an iRacing account. X-mas will see a cockpit setup with much improved steering wheel and pedals.
