Folks,

We have a new PCA Potomac member looking for a trusty transport service to take his new Carrera from Porsche Silver Spring to Oakton, VA in July. He has requested a fully enclosed trailer service.

Know anyone you can recommend?

Help appreciated.

Alan

Sounds like it’s destined to be a garage queen!

Sounds like. It's only a 30mi drive.

May well be, but I get the impression he will be out of town and looking for alternatives to dealer delivery. But I am often wrong.

Blair’s towing. They have a rollback cube truck. They do a lot of work for us in Tyson’s.

I'll pick it up for him and "store" it in my garage until he gets back. I'll even make sure the engine gets warmed up regularly!

About 40 years ago a group I was involved with arranged to rent a VERY expensive sailboat for an open-ocean 3-day sail. Well, the sails came in very late--just before our weekend, so we got to take that brand-new boat out before the owners. I spent the weekend trying to keep my (drunk) friends from ruining that beautiful boat, but they ended up spilling a Bloody Mary (stained) on the floor, and wax from a citronella candle on the canvas dodger. I never sailed with them again...
