Had another great run today with about 15 Porsche's including a Boxter. We seemed to do it in record time and the weather was picture perfect!!
Charlie, thanks for organizing once again.
I have a disk of 150 pictures for you so please call me or back channel me so we can meet and I can give you the pics to place on the net.

It was a great day and great route! I took the twisty road home back through Middleburg and was chasing three crotch rockets, they passed me at the tracks thinking they could outrun me...they are not as quick in the corners
Thanks for organizing the run Charlie!!
It was great meeting everyone. Look forward to the next run!

Great run today! Thanks for organizing it Charlie. Fast bursts, and prudent control when needed - as always. It was different participating in a run in the 911 instead of the 996 (sold). I had to keep both hands on the wheel this time.
It was good to see everyone again, the weather couldn't have been better. Good mix of years and model cars turned out. Jason your 914 is awsome. Dan M., how DO you drive from Leesburg to the Plains and not get a speck of dirt on your black car - what's your secret? Nice meeting you too Pari.
Dawn enjoyed herself, and managed to settle in with the pace, making it through the entire run without asking me to slow down.

Well guys, that was my last fun run with the infamous NOVA gang. Maybe if I move back to this area in 5 or 6 years I will show up to another one.
I had a great time today, good route, good folks. It was good talking with everybody and I will be thinking of you all when tooling around the backroads of the Pacific Northwest.

Thanks again Charlie!!! Great ride, just what I needed to test out my new suspension and alignment. However, I think every gravel driveway in VA emptied out onto the road after Friday's thunderstorm. I'm glad no one lost a windshield  It was great seeing everyone again.
Sam - Good luck on the left coast, we expect to still see you around the board.
Keith - Thanks for the kind words, I think you kept the right Porsche

Wow, that was a lot of. I realize that my car has a lot of untapped potential that I haven't even begun to master. I hope I haven't set the record for being the guy to get tail happy soonest in a Fun Run (somewhere between The Plains and Halfway) Of couse that being my first time slipping the back end set the precendent for my caution throughout the rest of the drive, apologies to the guys behind me!
Great run Charlie!
BTW; I noticed when I got home, I smelled an awful lot like other cars' exhaust!!!! :o

Steve, you have to keep that gas pedal down going through those twisties  . If you let off the gas or brake on such sharp curves, your tail will definitely be sliding out.
The exhaust smell is normal, start driving your SC daily and the smell will be your new cologne :P .
Sam, good luck out on the West Coast. Take care of your hot Carrera, that fabspeed was music to my ears while I was travelling behind you yesterday.

It sounds / looks like you guys had a great time. Oh well, I'd better get back to work and try not to think about frittering away such a nice weekend on office work.

2nd Half of the run. By the end I had an accumulation of dead bugs smudging up the windshield.
