I’m fixing my dads old X1 (for his 65th birthday) and I’ve done all right so far. I just can’t figure out the door, yet. This one has a manual lock system and I want to install a remote lock. Is it possible to install a power lock actuator? Is it feasible to call a locksmith?

Easiest way to add is to use factory parts if available for that model. Aftermarket has kit that work well too but need more work

So something didn't seem right about this post. First, the biography says "USA" but the IP address is from India. Second, a "vintage" X1 with manual locks? Not likely. Finally, google the user name. Lots of posts across different car boards, all ending in "call a locksmith".

So this is obviously some sort of spam - but to what end? Locksmith spam? Someone coding a spam bot and trying out it's AI?

Woah, wacky stuff. On all those boards, that's his first and only post.

Funny, I'd thought you'd be more concerned with her "belt"???

Is there a way to improve the distribution of this email into all the wrong places?

What's that? Jellykam7 expressed interested in joining the NAMBLA mailing list? I'm sure that can be arranged.
So long as they need locksmiths, I don't think he'd mind...
