You either missed or do know the guys running in the front (Sheddon and Jordan, etc.) for most of the race are from British Touring Car Challenge. The best tin top racing anywhere IMHO, except perhaps PCA DE Championship as you well know.

BTCC use to be shown on SPEED, but I think it is no longer carried by FOX. I have to spend some time seeing if CBS Sport has pick it up.

We bought our frequent flier freebie 2016 vacation tickets to the UK to match the date of a BTCC event that has been on the last weekend in June the last few years.

Finally! A chance to go watch something live, vs choppy streaming on a bodgy link. My first BTCC event, and first pro race since 1978 or so.

Three days later, BTCC announced the race will be a week earlier next year.:vomit:

I am trying to not-so-subtly influence a certain marketing person at the new owner of Eurosport broadcast rights to find a way to broadcast some BTCC and similar series on one of their many channels in the US, if possible. Silver Spring based company.

While I have regularly slept with (and been married to) one of the marketing folks from that company for 19 years and 51 weeks, I don't think I can do much to bring that series here. I wish I could.
