Title says it all... If you happen to have one laying around, I'm looking for a good (non rusty, or dented) tank for the 87' 911. I'm considering a new Dansk but they do not have the correct Wurth weather coating and grey color/ texturing on them. Thanks!

The color is not really an issue, the textured coating is what I wanted to maintain. I can always repaint it the correct gray. I just need it to be completely rust free and for the most part dent free. Thanks for posting and send me a PM with a price if you would. I may need to have it shipped, unless you will be at VIR in mid March for the Zone 2 event then I could meet you there. Thanks again!

let me get some pictures for you...there wasn't any significant rust on the outside and it hadn't any issues when I was using it...it was aligned to a rear mounted fuel pump...so when I went to put the fuel pump up front it didn't seem to fit. I also had the older style cross member from the 75 so I wasn't sure if that was the reason. So let me take a few pictures and you can decide if it is of interest... I got a bit slap happy with a can of POR...just for some reason decided to do the entire front in black in the project car when I was about 5/6 beers into the evening one night...

Contact ScottyB here. I think he has a way to duplicate the orig coatings if you want to buy a new one.

Hey Tito, thanks for getting back to me again. At this point I'm leaning towards a new reproduction tank that I will likely just paint the correct gray and if I'm able apply the sound deadener/insulation on the outside to get the right texture. Stephen, thanks for chiming in. I'll see if I can contact Scotty about the correct texturing on a new tank.
