Anyone had to glue the mirror glass back onto the backing plate before? What did you use? Did a google search and I've seen all sorts of ideas, none of which seem really great.

I've used Liquid Nails used to bond mirrors, metal and glass. Should be able to get a tube Village hardware or Home Despot. The adhesive is waterproof, non-corrosive, heat and steam resistant and permanent but you need to wear gloves and eye protection cause that shite is nasty if you get it on your skin....

I used a strong double-sided tape on one ~10 years ago and it is still firmly in place.

Hmmm well I might do both. Double sided tape to hold it in place and liquid nails to bond it tight.

Couple of strips of moulding tape and a two blobs of liquid nails and it seems to be holding tight. Thanks guys!
