Ok, so I'm watching the Simpsons, and they show Crusty the Clown go out to his car to look for some money for a poker game at Moe's Bar. Outside is parked a white 911 c2. It gets better. They show the interior, it's from a 996, and it has a tiptronic shifter! I guess shifting a manual would be difficult with the clown shoes

I don't know what the name of it was but it had to do with Crusty finding out he has a daughter.

Just returning, waiting for the plane to DC, from vacation to Barret-Jackson (spectator only) and Ft. Lauderdale, and amazed at the number of Porsches here in the Palm Beach, FL area. Back in Northern VA, I see mostly Boxters, 944's, 911's, 964's and the accasional 993 or 996. Here's the complete opposite. I've seen so many 996's they hardly even get a second look here. I'm in heaven.

Marc,
If it was around 8 or 8:30 it was me. I was dropping my son off at daycare. I have dark tinted windows on mine. Haven't seen anybody with the same setup yet. I'm sure that will change at Hershey. Can't wait!

Ted - dropping off the kid at daycare in a 911? What a way to start the school day!

Ted:

There was no doubt in my mind that it was you. First I heard, then I saw those 2 big crome pipes emanating from the rear of a Black Carrera.

I was doing the same thing, however, my son road in a Suburban.

The best part of dropping Cole off at daycare in the Porsche is the looks I get from other Dad's driving minivans who I'm Sure had to give up their "fun car" for a family truckster.

Marc,
I dropped the car off today at ASG this morning. Taylor is going to cut and reweld the Flabspeed cat pipe to bring the muffler up to fit the car. The mufler might look a little less..... well just less. It will be ready for Hershey! :D

Ted: I miss the head numbing buzz from my B&B's since the cd box died on the fun run. The replacement showed up today...where's the aspirin.
