Need to replace fuel pump..what direction to go

My pump works, but is getting a bit long in the teef and I am pretty sure you can hear it a few counties away when running. Before I am stuck on the side of the road I think it might be wise to upgrade. From what I can tell the OEM design is no longer available. It appears to have the intake on the side and the exhaust on the front. The new models don't appear to be running this same config. What that said, have any of you replaced yours and what mods do I need to do in order to make it all jive. Below is a vid of the old gal.

Yes but mostly a recycler. Many will have what you need.
