Door check repair complete.

So my door check was toast. I tried the repair kit but the metal was just too stressed to even handle the kit. So I thought why not toss on some classic Ford leather door check straps. 20$ and a few nutserts and we are back in business.

A lot of the early 911 guys do this mod for their RS, and/or ST and R builds. Somebody actually sells a kit that uses the Porsche tie-down loops.
