I am looking for a good shop to do an alignment on my 2003 Boxster. I would like to find some one locally St.Marys, Charles or Calvert county. I recently replaced a rear wheel bearing and am getting ready to replace a front control arm.

Might help if you indicate what type of alignment (i.e., stock? track? custom specs?). Tons of shops can do stock, but not many can do beyond that unless you have specific camber/ toe numbers to give them.

As far as I know there is only one shop anywhere near that area that knows about Porsches for track use. I need to look in dV for his name.

Sorry, the new shop I was thinking of is in Easton, MD, so not in the area.

Just stock alignment to keep from wearing out my tires faster than necessary.

I live in Leonardtown, to my knowledge there is not a shop near us that has experience with Porsche. I use TPC in Jessup for my track car. However, I have used Mr. Tire located in Leonardtown for my wife's X-5 and they do good work and are inexpensive. I have also used them to mount my track tires for the last 3 years with zero issues. For a standard alignment I think they are a good option. Otherwise Porsche of Arlington is the closest shop.

I lived off 235 near Pax and used Huntzberry's Import Automotive a time or two for my 944.

John runs a good shop, fair pricing (far less than a dealership), and knowledgeable. He's not a track guru but he knows his imports and stock alignment shouldn't be a problem.
