I've had a nasty little gash in the bumper cover (front) of my 135i convertible and have procrastinated about getting it to a body shop. Then it occurred to me that I could probably source the part, get it painted, and swap it myself.

Any idea where I can get OEM BMW stuff? It is an "M-sport" bumper cover that is not offered at PartsGeek.

PS: I was also looking at eBay at some aftermarket stuff, and was very surprised to find out that the FRONT BUMPER COVER of the 135 convertible is NOT interchangeable with the front bumper cover of the 135 coupe.

Try www.getbmwparts.com (http://www.getbmwparts.com)
It's the internet arm of Tischer BMW in Silver Spring. You can also pick it up to save shipping.
Their catalog is basically the BMW factory parts diagrams; it's really useful so bookmark it even if you don't buy from them.

I would think it would be cheaper to fix the bumper and have it painted... Unless bmw bumpers are really inexpensive.

Yes, getbmwparts is run by my buddy Luis and is very good.
