View Full Version : Anybody up for Allsports GP?

Just got back from Allsports GP (indoor go-cart track in Dulles) and was wondering if anybody is interested in getting together for a session or two in the coming weeks.

I know there is a league the Potomac region is involved with but I thought this might be a lower-key way for some of us to try it and also allow us to get together for some good ol' fashion BS'ing.

If you've never been there it is a proferssional operation (helmets/gloves/suits provided) and there is plenty of room to hang out afterwards.

Tonight's costs averaged about a doller per lap as I did two 10 minute sessions (as a non-member) for $25 per and completed a total of 48 laps.

This was the first time I've actually driven there (all previous visits were as a spectator) and I am definately hooked!

Hopefully we can get a group together and have some fun!

Doug, I'd definitely be interested. I haven't been out there yet but have been hoping to find a chance to go. I'm out of town but will be back Sunday evening. I'm off next week. If you are available any day or evening, I could meet you there.

Good deal Bill. Unfortunately I only have Wednesday off next week so we'll have to plan on an evening.

I'll call Allsports today to get a feel for their schedule next week just to make sure there aren't any league nights already filling the schedule.

Anybody else want to join us?

Good deal - sounds like we'll have 4 or 5 of us there.

I'm thinking around 8 pm but I need to call back on Thursday since Francois (owner) hadn't yet confirmed a large group who was interested in booking.
