This is a great site; It's kind of like an online appendix to Machinery's Handbook.

Had a couple friends/professors who would contribute to articles, specifically the metallurgy/joining stuff. From what I can tell, most of what they use here are technical articles from industry (rather than academia). My guess is that industry has more materials engineering (vs. materials science) and the articles are often more legible (compared with academia).

Oh I didn't know that. I've also got 28th edition.

Just looked on Amazon; looks like they're up to 29th now.
