Where is the best place to go if you just need an inspection done. Usually, I do the PCA tech sessions or bundle service at dealer with the inspection if needed. Need an inspection done for a 1 day event 9/21 at VIR.
Thanks, Webb

rkvl porsche does them for free. some indy's will also do them for free (possibly contingent on if youre a regular customer).

You'll also want to check with the group running the event at VIR. Some groups require a shop on their pre-approved list. Last year I requested a few local (NOVA) shops be added to PCA Zone-II and Carolina's Region PCA groups.

Thanks very much for the feedback. It's with Rezoom (PCA spin out from Tenn valley).
I am a regular at Rockville. Maybe I will try them.

Hey Webb! I've got another local shop off East West highway that I use when I can't make the PCA inspections. Super nice and convenient as it's all of 5 minutes from downtown Bethesda. They also do the inspections for free for their customers. PM for info.

Please note acceptance of tech forms from shops not known to PCAP is not guaranteed.

Update: Rockville Porsche wanted $175 for just an inspection and tried sell me a brake flush (just did Castrol SRF in March) then 1/2 that after expressing my surprise for PCA members having to pay....just before I hung up he said we will do it for free....

Having to pay when you are not a regular customer is pretty normal -- PCAP member or not. Usually shops charge ~1 hour of labor.
As far as the brake fluid goes, looks like you are at 6 months. Not sure what the rules of the organization you will be running with happen to be, but you will need a flush before your next PCAP event.

Most find if you can't get to one of the Club tech events your regular shop will do it for free to keep your business and possibly find future work or small repairs. Shops that don't know you, have to clear a lift, pay a tech for as Dave said probably an hour, and maybe never see you again.

SSI in Parkville (just north of Baltimore) provides free tech inspections to PCA members. Their emphasis is Porsches, they're very involved with track stuff, provide great service and advice, and prices are very fair. Highly recommended - we go to them for all non-warranty work. Track guys as far as NY get work done by them!
