Looking for a book about BMWs, much in the same way that Ludvigsen covers Porsche or Paul Freres book about the 911.
Could be model specific (ie M3s) or just brand specific.. maybe with some motorcycle and aircraft history.
Any suggeestions?
There's a book called Driven, it's the history of the company. I've read it and it's pretty good of you're into BMW's.

Check out Voloce{spelling} Book's website. They have lots of BMW books, Porsche books, actually books about all car makes. You'll find something there.

no projects per say.. he's still got his '97 M3 and is buying out his 535I so it seems he likes these buggers. Something about them being easier to get in and out of than a Porsche but still fun to drive.
Appreciate the leads!

I have the enthusiasts companion and Bentley manuals for E30 and E39. Haven't found an equivalent to "Excellence Was Expected" or Frere books.
