I am in the process of repairing a 86 Carrera for a good cause. In the process I found the stupid-ess repair on record. To make the right side door open from the outside he wrapped the wire for the electric lock around the mechanism. That way the plunger on the door handle pushed enough to actuate the opener. Problem was the window caught the wire, pulled it against the rod for the door lock and bent it into a smile. The inside of the door is AFU and I suspect parts are missing. My SC manuals are no help.
Anybody have a right side coupe Carrera (circa 86) door apart that I can look at. I might be in the market for a complete door mechanicals. Don't need the skin.

I know, this post is not helpful without pictures, but that is the way life works.
