I'm going to use this on the 964. But heard the Redline was good too. Swepco makes a blend for G-50s too but most seem to be switching to the Mobil.

A lot of discussion on this one. Many threads on Rennlist. If there is any concensus ( which there really isn't ) it's to go with synthetic in a G50 and mineral in the 915's.

for what its worth- my G50 shifts very nicely now....it has Mobil 1 in it (28K- never been changed since new- in February, 1987)

My 2 cents...Then I'd question how well the rest of the car was maintained over the last 22 years (28K or not) :D

Been using the Red Line for a while now. No complaints.

Its 100x better than the Mobil 1 that was in there before.

Taylor at German Auto Group likes BG Ultra-Guard 75w90 for the G50 gearbox.

Went with Redline 75w90 from OG Racing since I needed to order Sparco mounting hardware from them anyway. I'll let you know how it works out.....
