What kind of dent do you have? Is it creased? Any paint missing? If not, you could consider freezing it out w/ CO2. Seems pretty straight forward. Warm with hair dryer, shoot with liquid CO2 (compressed air, upside down), watch dent pull itself out.

There's not enough CO2 in all the world since 3/4 of the population has that problem.

I have seen numerous videos of this working on Youtube, etc. I started looking for it because I had heard that there were pros using this technique to pull out dents. You're basically just relaxing the metal then forcing it to contract, then you hit it with the CO2 to freeze the area and force the metal to contract. The dent just pops out. You can also use dry ice for smaller dents.

I ask as the amount of heat you can instill and not roast the paint does not change sheet steel hardness at all. You might get some localized uneven tensions or pressures but if that is the case the rapid cooling is not needed. All the pro dent removal i have seen is done by using tools to press the dent out from the back. Over press the dent slightly then tap it back flush from the front.

I’m looking for a painless dent removal person/shop in the area that someone has tried with good results?
I live in NO VA close to Tysons/Reston and can take the car further for good service.

I live in NO VA close to Tysons/Reston and can take the car further for good service.HBL has 2 on staff PDR guys. I mention this ONLY as you mentioned tysons area. I work for HBL but don't make a penny from clients. I have seen some very nice work as well as some standard stuff. What do you have and how extensive are the dings?

Jim did a great job removing a couple dings on the Boxster last year.
You do get some funny looks when you drive your Porsche into the MB service area. And then you'll get some phone calls and emails from HBL asking if you're happy with the service the HBL Porsche guys did for you that day.

Jim did a great job in minimizing the dent which was in a challenging location. I highly recommend him.
Kurt, it was good to meet you as well; thanks for stopping by given your hectic pace.
Great facility. The paint/detail shop upstairs is unbelievable; spacious and spotless. I was taken aback at how many high end cars were being worked upon; there must have been at least 20 bays. I was treated 1st class all the way!
