View Full Version : VA body shop

My boxster was backed into at a Starbucks this weekend and will need a new rear bumper cover and bumperettes repainted. It was of course a hit and run by what appears to have been an SUV. I live down 95 near Quantico.
Anyone have a body shop they like in the VA area? This is my daily driver so a shop who can do the work quickly and well is preferred.
Thanks in advance!

Pat, that stinks. We should crucify that guy. I would check with Wagonwerks collision in Alexandria.
BTW, is that one of those Cayman kits on that Boxster? I don't think I have even seen one installed.
BTW2: Welcome to the board!

Wagonwerks or First Choice in Arlington. Both do quality work, but may not be the fastest. With the ice we have had lately, most body shops are going to be backed up.

Thanks guys.
Steve it is the Zeintop. It's one of a couple in the states now. You can see more of my photos from when I was in OH last month and other info here: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?t=385148

That's a very nice hard-top kit. Looks much better than the factory one, which seems like an afterthought.
Sucks about the idiot SUV driver. :XX Any time I'm at a quick in-and-out kind of restaurant, deli, or coffee shop, I like to park where I can see my car. Not that it would prevent such a mishap, but at least you might see who the douchebag was and get his plate number.

I just looked at your pics, and that top really is impressive. Shape seems identical to the Cayman, but with seams in different locations. I like how the trunk access is designed.
I can't help but wonder if the Boxster Club Racer might be able to use that as an alternative hardtop (open top has aero disadvantages). :D
