1) Basic stuff. I was playing around with the car a bit today, and following Rick's advice when I parked it, pulled the heater levers up. One made a tiny noise. No big deal, but is there a way to get at it to lube it with some oil? Or just leave it alone?

2) You know when the car is off, you can pull your turn signal so that the side you would be directing to of the car lights up (not flashes)? Well if I pull the stalk up the right side amber lights come on fine. If I put it down nothing happens unless the fog light switch is pulled. Then the fog lights come on. If the ignition is on, all operates as normal. Is there a common relay that is bad, bad switch, gremilns?

Crawl under and lube the moving part. Or, find a mouse and grease it then tell it where to go.

WOW, don't drove that car! Jeeps are noted for this kind of problems and can easally lead to major engine issues and $$$

Obviously I can't get to the thing from under the car, do I take the e-brake housing off to get to it. This is what I assumed.

Thanks for the great advice DR, but the Jeep is fine. :)

.

I assume what's squeaking is the heater box itself....it's closer to the road and dirt to produce rust. (Also how mice get in). I'd crawl under and lube the flapper.

Yup, unfortunatley this is the 911. I'm guessing it is the switch or relay. But everything works fine for now, so it will wait until after the bushings.

At least its not like my friends MGB which blinks at him even no matter where the switches are.
