View Full Version : Machine shop to lighten/balance flywheel

Hello
First time here..looks like a great forum.
Anybody know of a good machine shop that i can take my flywheel and get some wheight taken off the back of it (1990 944S2) and then balance it for me?

You might also try IMA Motorsport off Prosperity Av Fairfax. Ivan and crew do a lot of P car work including machining etc. 703-849-9590

You might also want to do some more research too. To much off the flywheel can lead to idle problems on Motronic equipped cars. There are some software patches but it good to have in hand before committing to saving weight. BTW welcome!
