Anyone got an 86 951 rotor I can borrow for clearance testing? I'd like to see how it fits on the front of a 911 with raised spindles (thus eliminating the problem of hitting the a-arm). Condition doesn't matter, and I'll return it to you in the same condition I borrowed it in - i.e. no "on track" testing ;)

Please let us know how it turns out.

My suspension will be apart some next week if you want to borrow one of mine, shipping of course. In fact, you can just have the front cross-drilled ones. Provided I don't run out of money for some new rotors.

Chris, I have a full set of well worn rotors off of my 89 944S2. I'm not sure if they are the same size as the early 951 though.

I just had a chance to check Paragon and it looks like the 86 951 rotor is unique to that year. Sorry I wasn't sure on that. The rotors on my car are the same as the 87 & up 951's.

Thanks for looking, Charlie. Yeah the 86 rotor is unique, since it was the only year for the turbo rotors w/o ABS. Lots of 911 guys like to take wheel/brake parts off these cars for that reason (I run 86 951 Fuchs on the front of my car).
