With x-mass ’06 in the can, I can admit I forgot one of Linda’s longstanding “wishes.” I’m now working on an April B-day deadline. She would like 2 Porsche posters. The “kills bugs fast” (airborne 930?), and the one that says something like “Porsches are like children, you won’t understand until you have one.”
Any leads or assistance would be appreciated.

IIRC, the "kills bugs fast" is a 993 and the airborn 930 talks about how many rocket scientists are german. Hope that helps.

bb is correct on the flying 930. i've been looking for this one for 5-6yrs. my ex's boss had one hanging in his office. mentioned that he got it from dealer when he bought his 930...

maybe ebay?

DR, is this one of the ones you are after? If so, there are a couple on eBay.

While off-topic from what you are looking for, another poster that people seem to love is the "Save the Whales" (http://members.rennlist.com/bcbarrows/savethewhales.jpg) one I have in my hallway. It's well-recieved but will likely be even harder to find.

Try this link...there are lots of Porsche posters, mostly original and not cheap...I have two of the 928 posters, the horse jumping over a dark blue 928 and the one with the 928 at night, headlighting Stonehenge.

Cool link Howie.

They don't have the one I've been searching out for a couple of years. It reads: "Most car companies have a sportscar in their lineup...Porsche has a lineup of sprtscars". I got it at the carshow from some sales literature. I had it hangining on my bedroom wall for years until I repainted the room for my mom (about a year before I got my 911). I wish I kept it.

I used to have "kills bugs fast". That was a BIG poster, from a dealer showroom or something. Sold it on ebay a while back. Only two I have left are framed and hanging in my living room "Every Porsche owes it's soul to those that came before" and "Extreme Engineering".

Is the flying 930 poster the one on the wall in the Seinfeld episodes? I can't remember.

I've got an original of the jumping 930 print (the print doesn't have the wording that the ad did). You are welcome to borrow it to get it repro'd if you want. (If it makes $$ sense to repro it). :D

I love the save the whales print BTW.

That’s the one I envisioned but clearly the “bug” was a 993. (still looking on evil-bay)

Dave,
Maybe you've already seen, but the "Bugs" one is available from automotion.com (though not cheap....)

Also found this one at Pelican that might be nice to hang on the wall. :D

Wow, that isn’t “cheap!” Thought the ones on E-bay were costly at $50. Thanks though.

Thanks, I’ll check on pricing for reproing it.

FWIW, if the size is acceptable, I can print up to 11 x 17 photo quality on my printer. The cost of paper/ink would only be a couple $ if you're interested. If you can take a photo of it, you can email the graphic file to me.

The "like children" poster is a 964. I have the "kills bugs fast" one and it's an arena red 993. There's a guy on eBay, I think username "Bell" who sells them all. He's in San Diego and has an amazing selection. BTW, the "rocket scientists" poster is in several Seinfeld episodes too.

Here's a '74 RSR airborne. Cool. :D

BTW, I wonder if the airborne 930 poster in Seinfeld had Seinfeld's name on the license plate. The one I have has my last name on it and I believe that PCNA sent a personalized one to every member of PCA back in the late '80's.
