Sounds like current owner did body work while working at Kar.? Does look good, and as light as any stock 911 could be. Front fenders look like from later (~’69) but could be wrong. Can’t get much tyre under it but it would definitely be fun! Note: 20 year old restoration may need a lot of work but Kar has always done quality work and would certainly be worth a look. Interiors are cheap. Have a couple of ’69 seats and some early sway bars in shop

Here is info from the 912 BBS

This 912 had restoration '87-88 including floor pan, inner rockers, outer rockers, lock posts; torsion tube area rear patched up; hung new left fender; right fender patched, rehung; door bottoms both sides; car has been driven and enjoyed! Original engine replaced with '67 block built to 2.2L with German parts; hi volt electronic ignition reads from crank; Webers rebuilt 5 years ago; '70 Porsche mags and original steels w/caps; carpet's decent, tan vinyl interior needs replaced, headliner put in at restoration, is still great; I did car almost 20 years ago for previous owner while w/Karrosserie Ltd, Fairfax, VA; starting to fade; needs new owner; as fast as early 911! Good torqi motor, 5 speed shorty
