Paypal me $20 or I will tell him there are at least 4 remaining not 3, thus lowering his price and making yours less valuable ;)

Nope, mine is one of the three! Got its own web page (someone else did it, if you know me you know why) http://www.thesteeringwheel.com/ (http://www.thesteeringwheel.com/)

Keep your bucks in your jeans!

From an E-mail earlier this year.

Subject: Sabel Race Car.

Hello David,

I t has been a while since I have contacted you. Today I received an email
from Dick Morel, who was a previous owner of your car. I also must report
that it was your car that ran in the six hour Enduro at Summit Point. I
originally was led to believe that it was Dick Morel's other Sabel (Mk2)
that raced in that event. I will correct this information for you on the
website. I had trouble with my PC at work, where I do all the site updates.
This caused a delay in posting your pictures. I wnet to your website the
other day but it seems to be down. Do you have another location I could go
to to get the pictures for the website?

Please drop me a quick note sometime and let me know how things are going
with your car.

Best Regards,

Sean”

Wow David! That's a cool car. So why aren't you restoring that instead of the 931?

Is there a time limit before you have to give it up to someone that has extra motors and can get it out of cinderblock hell? ;)

Kurt, you have enough projects and rugrats at the moment.... ;)

There likely is but if I keep it as long as the previous “owner” I’ll be within stricking distance of 100 and my son will be my age! Got plenty of motors, just lacking time right now. 931 is almost a Porsche, Sabel is a Sabel (not that there is anything wrong with that ;) )

After seeing the pics, I'm not so sure that buying Frank's would make Dave's more valuable. On the other hand, I'm not sure Dave's could be rendered any less valuable; looks like more of a black hole for time and money than a thing of value. Frank's looks like it would be fun.

At least it no longer has weeds and grass growing THROUGH it anymore! It has seen a vast quality of life improvement from being abandoned in a field.
