Default What time is DE registration?

There’s been a lot of discussion about “opening times for registration”. We have Friday’s off so this morning was been spent testing & tweaking the DE on-line registration. Here’s the latest & hopefully the last word!

“Opening time for DE registration is 12:00:01PM, Central Standard Time, 60 calendar days before the date of the event”. This is because the host computer is located in another time zone. There is now an indicator at the bottom of the “DE On-line Registration” page that shows the host computer's "clock time”.

The schedule posted on the DE On-line Registration page is the official event dates. Any other dates posted anywhere else, by anyone else should be questioned. Hey, anybody can make a mistake.

More info:
 Just in front of the “Event” is an icon:
“Lock” = event not available for registration, for whatever reason.
“Pencil” = event is available for registration.
 Everyone probably knows this but just in case, once you access any on-line application your screen will not automatically “refresh”, so any initial status remains the same no matter how long you wait. Indications to the contrary are probably caused by the applications running code on your computer.

Thanks for the clarifications Dave! And since you have Fridays off, remind me to drop off my Targa for full detailing next week

(and please tell Linda I said 'thanks' for all her hard work on the database)

Detailing? Detailing we don’t do no sticking detailing

To me “detailing” is making sure I don’t have any left over fasteners when I’m done working on my projects.

Thanks for all the clarification Dave. Nice to know we get the real skinny here on the NoVa board

Please also share my thanks to your wife - my registration process was smooth and problem free.

Come on Marc, those “tires” all have different treads. No way they would make it past anybody in a Concour competition!
