Rebuilding 40 IDA Webers
Watching Vicegrip messing with "Douche's" fuel system motivated me to get off my @ss and rebuilt my 40 IDA Webers. I went away and "did some time" for 8 months with my 69E sitting in the driveway. I recently came back to a properly crapped-up carb. The rebuilt kit from PMO came and I spent last weekend rubbing, scrubbing, and spraying the jets and passages clean. The carbs are all buttoned back up and the only thing left before adjusments is to safety-wire the float fulcrum screws and the choke fixing screws. Does anyone know where I can get some safety wires (0.020 or 0.032) locally? I checked Granger but no luck. Thanks for your help.

Air-correction jet and float, pivot pin, and safety wire off. Float bowl has alot of dry residues that needs to be clean out. I used a home made baking soda blaster to clean them out.

I have some 0.020 and 0.032 you could have a couple ft ea of. A spool is a couple lifetimes supply for me. But Im not very local. I could roll them up into an envelope and mail if you're not in a rush.
