Default Transponder won't stick to windshield

The standard velcro glue won't keep my transponder stuck to my windshield when the car sits out in the sun. Whatever EZ pass uses works great. Any suggestions?

I noticed in Advance Auto Parts yesterday near the counter that they had those glue-type pads for attaching rear view mirrors to windshields. I believe they are soft pads with glue on both sides. Keeps from cracking the windshield if you glue the mirror directly to the glass.

You can get the stuff that EZ pass uses from office depot.

You can also swing by the EZ Pass office in Reston and they will probably give you some new ones....just tell them your windshield was replaced or something if they ask. We used to have a pile of those with a small fleet of trucks that always had passes moving around.

Oh wait...just noticed Damascus MD....there must be a closer EZ Pass office?

Staples had a big selection of Scotch products. I bought the "super strong" adhesive version, not the "permanent - may cause damage if removed" version.
