Default Need Temporary Rental Housing in NoVA or DC Area

Hi All,

New member here, but long-time member of the Early 911S Registry and PCA.

I was just transferred from LA to our office in Baileys Crossroads and am looking for a place for a few months.

The place would be for one person (me only). I am married with two young kids and a house in LA. I need a place while I get settled in, get a good lay of the land, and figure out where we want to live before I uproot my family and move them out east.

I've already posted on CL with a great response, but thought it would be neat to check with the local Porsche crowd, also.

Please e-mail me through this site as opposed to PM or post.

TIA for any help.

Regards,

J-P

Hey, J-P, welcome. We usually use at least our first names, and put our P-cars (sometimes more) in our signature. In addition, how about introducing yourself a little more here.

I'm renting a 2200 SF townhouse with a two-car garage about a mile from Bailey's. Good place for family, as far as townhouse communities go. The complex is called Madison Pointe. If you're interested, I'll see if any of the neighboring houses are for rent. There were two a few months ago.

There are a lot of nice rental properties in Alexandria, and Del Ray area, as well as townhomes. I am really familiar with that area as I was looking to get a place in Alexandria. Let me know if you would like to speak with a Realtor. It all depends on how much you are looking to spend. Different areas are cheaper than Alexandria, Arlington and Rosslyn. For instance Springfield and Annandale are less expensive areas that are close to Baileys Crossroads.

I think you really want to find someplace close by a Dorki with a 2-post lift and mad DIY skilz. I wish I was closer...

Let us know if there is anything else we can do for you? Since you don't have time to "check here often" just post a list and we can work it for you.
