Here are some more photos of my project. Went down to Scott Kaefer's (near Richmond) today and did the following:
Removed all glass except for doors
Removed headliner
Removed sunroof and prepped for "sunroof delete" body work (this is NOT a small job)
Removed soundproofing
Began removing some of the excess wiring and stereo equipment
Discussed body work and paint with Kaefer's body and paint guy, Joe.
Put a seat in the car to check headroom (forgot helmet, but looks like I have a tight 2" with the sunroof out. Will measure helmet and discuss with Piper, but just removing the seat rails should give me plenty of room, for now)

Need to mention here that Scott has a lot of friends (many P-cars there today), and all were really helpful. It was a truly fun day down in Richmond (except for the traffic on the drive back).

The car goes to the frame shop tomorrow (thanks to couple in minivan who hit Rick K when it was his car)
Comes up here to Piper in 2 weeks
Then back down for the body work and paint 2 weeks after that

I NEED:
3.2 stock engine
Repair my spare transmission

I WANT (if you have or know of, please let let me know)
Fiberglass duck tail
Fiberglass bumpers

That was pretty easy. We told Dave that he was Peter's *itch for the day.

My wife got a kick out of seeing Dave and Peter crawling around inside the car together while removing the glass and sunroof...

We got A LOT of work done yesterday.
