Sad news indeed..
I wondered about Harleigh... as I had sent him an email just a week or so ago and he had not yet responded. And he was that guy who always followed-up. Rest In Peace.

RIP Harleigh. I just read the news in Der Vorganger. I only met you over the summer when buying your tired Club Racer 968. I thought to myself after listening to stories of 914-6 ownership and 968 DE/Club Racer with a trailer hitch on the back to bring a tire trailer and tools that this was a gentleman racer.
Harleigh sold me the car and threw in the entire bound set of 968 manuals, a file 2 inches thick of receipts since purchase of the 968. When reading through the receipts you started to understand a little more about the commitment; when your car breaks at Mid Ohio and you drove it there....you have a receipt for repairs at an Ohio P dealership before you can come home. Loved reading through everything on the car and your early club racing adventures with the 968. Thanks for writing that up Dirk.

Harleigh was one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet in the paddock. He was my 5th instructor on my first trip to Watkins Glen in 1998.
