Question How do you remove the chain ramps

I am stuck. The book says to use a little screw driver and wedge the Circle clip out of it's groove. Is there a trick to this? I don't seem to be able to wedge anything in there.

The back of one the ramps has a split. Do I pry that appart and pull it off.

It's the little things.

Thanks

Chris

IIRC, just pull/pry like a muther. x10 if you're replacing them I don't remember a circlip, just an indent on each pin that the plastic ramp has a roundish tab that kind of drops into. It was much harder to get the old rock hard ones off than the new ones on (or even off, since I put one on backwards and had to pop it off to flip over.)

Look under each ramp and you'll see to small plastic tabs. The tabs lock into the indent on the ramp "pins". Wedge a little screwdriver under each tab and lift up (releasing the tabs from their indent), at the same time wedge/pry with a larger screwdriver between ramp/case to slide ramp off.

Came right off once I got a 90 degree screw driver behind them and just pried them off.

Heads come off tomorrow.
