And lets be honest too.. that "heat sink" is just putting MORE heat into an UNvented small rotor. Besides, 914s don't use up brakes. imho, I don't consider the 320I calipers an "up"grade.

alrighty. Just a quick update. I brought the car out of hiding yesterday(first time in 4 months) started w/in 5 seconds of cranking and drive well(albeit a little crummy for the first 5 minutes).

To do this spring: Fix a few rust issues, replace the front bumper top, get the gas guage working, install a working radio!

Gotta love this nice weather

Your car is a 20 footer? Mine must be a 50 footer then haha.

My paint may be en-vogue these days as it's kind of a satin ravenna green (almost flat)

alright... so i loaded the 914 up on the truck yesterday to go get some body work done.

About 2/3s of the car needs to be painted after some fixing so i am debating a color change.

Original Color is Light Ivory
Current Color is Grand Prix
Future color? Between the 2 above and 356 "Dolphin Grey"... any thoughts from the peanut gallery?

Ooooo, that grey on a 914 would look great. Always been a fan of that color and you don't see many grey 914s.
Are you going to remove the front side-marker lights?
