Looking to buy 2 or 4 used (but not used up) RA1s in 225-50-16 size.
I just bought some wheels for the 944 and 2 of them have RA1s on them already.

David,
I was curious if you're running a staggered or square setup on your 944? I ended up with 2 sets of D90's from my S2's. I recently decided to put my street/rain tires on the 7" (front) rims, and RA1's on the 8" (rears). So running 245/45/16's RA1's on all 4 corners. I really like the way the car feels with this setup.

My current wheels (17's) are staggered - 225front, 255 rear. imho, its way too much rear (ie, the car doesn't rotate the way I'd like). My brother had an S2. Ran 225/245s (track, primarily) but he also ran 225 square and liked how the car responded. He considered 245s all around, but would have had to get some 8's for the front. (stock wheels were 7f/8r) Since my car sees only AX at this point and only has 147hp, I thought I would go with a 225 square set up. I got, for $100, 4 7x16s, 2 of which already have tires. I also have 4 7x15s, but I haven't figured out what I want to run on them. Ultimately I will sell the 17"s that are on the car. I have, in essence, a "wheel" conundurom at the moment.

I've always heard that the NAs liked 225s on 7s squared? Ran them on the '31 car (whenit was running and liked them just fine.
