Just curious if any of the other Dorki who bought pictures from the on-site photographer during the 9/12 & 9/13 Schattenbaum event received theirs yet.

Mine came today and I was disappointed because 1) the IMG_(number) appears in the top of the picture instead of in the border and I don't remember seeing that disclosed anywhere and 2) on one of the pictures there's an impection in either the paper or printing showing as a big white spot which makes it look like there is a huge rock chip in the paint.

I sent the guy an e-mail seeing what can be done about the second issue but I was just curious how anybody else's turned out.

Well, I must say it is nice to see that customer service is still a priority for some businesses.

When I got home last night there was a package from the photographer with 2 replacement photo's - both issues were fixed and he sent the replacements free of charge.

I am assuming that's the usual guy that works at SP? I can figure why he doesn't take those IMG_ things off there. A frame covers it up though since they were 8.5 x 11's.

FWIW: I got the CD rom from the guy at VIR, that is a great value!

Steve - not sure if this was the usual guy but his company was Etech Photo from Eldersburg MD. I don't recall seeing him at SP before as the ones I had previously purchased were from an outfit that put the SP logo in the upper right corner.

Charlie - hope you are at the game ... it isn't pretty right now on TV but we should pull it out in the end :)

Etech is the guy I was thinking of. He was at VIR on thursday for th trailer drop, but a differt crew from VA was taking photos for that event. Their prices were a lot better and the photographers were all over the track (including flag stations).
