I just sent in my app today... they said they had plenty of room! mmm Shenendoah! Like Vu, who's question didn't get a direct answer, if folks are in need of a Tech, can we show up to Tischer on the 23rd? I am hoping (assuming) that we can... anyone??

The tech rule is that one tech per event. If get your car teched on the 23rd and do the Potomac July event, Kurt will not allow a second tech sheet to be signed off for a second event.

Another words new tech for each event is required by Potomac.

I don't know what Shattenbaum would say about having a tech inspection if the car went through a DE before thier DE and wasn't teched in between.

Of course if you are only doing the S-baum event than teching on the 23rd is not a problem.

Right now we only have about 50 cars for this event. Lots of room in other words. Max track time is available, and it's a weekend. Bring some friends.

Get a Shat tech form and bring it with you if you need a tech inspection for the event. Mark is right. Sorry, I dont make the rules but only one tech per event. If you are only doing the Shat event we can inspect for you at Tisher. If you are doing both you will need to set up for another inspection between events.

If the # of folks needing a tech are not too high we might set up a tech night at the Taj.

Interested in doing the DE, but have heard mixed reviews of the track. I'm doing the Potomac DE next weekend, and depending on the output will decide whether to do Schattenbaum event.

Kurt, if you have a tech night at home, I'm totally in for that, as I'm doing both nights. Might be able to talk my buddy RJ into hosting and he has two lifts.

I had a great weekend even if I wan't at SC.
I got the nod to go. So I fed ex'ed the app and check to Dave K this morning.
Picked up my Strut from Steve Timmons today and the wife and kids are going to the beach Tuesday till Friday.
Home Alone for the first time in a while!

BTW Dave said there are still openings.
I suggest you e-mail and call before you get your hopes up.
BTW, I can only go on Sunday.

I will be commuting back and forth, but would consider a convoy. I usually jump on the toll road just west of rt28 (Old Ox? West Ox? some kinda farm animal road though - forgive me I am new enough to the area to still not know any names.)...

Chris, maybe Sunday morning.
The problem with my car was not the spindle, but a defective strut insert.
Just got finished fixing that and flushing the brakes.
I guess I'm ready!!!
