This kinda goes to an earlier discussion we were having about having faster drivers drive your car.
You'd think it would be a real buzz to have an F1 driver show you what your car can do, right? Maybe that'e what this guy was thinking when he got Antonio Pizzonia into the driver's seat. See what happened here (http://www.gvc-bmwcca.org/Movies/pizzonia.wmv)

OUCH!
Looks like that Jag's traction control didn't totally turn off so he could slide it like he was trying, whoops. My friend tried to do a slide in an SLK once w/ the TC on (in a safe location mide you) and the sucker just plowed straight. Good thing we weren't going 100mph!

I seriously want that job! I might actually be better at it than I am at DEs, which really wouldn't take all that much now that I think about it.

What exactly happened at the end?

First off, it was only Pizzonta, not Shue :P
I find it more remarkable that neither was wearing a helmet
Also, Pizzonta likely got down to the break zone and thought the Jag would actually slow down. I guess a 4,000lb car can't slow like an F1 car
In the end, pretty funny!

Then, when it didn't, he thought turning the wheel more would cause it to turn! Just a tad bit of understeer....

Good find TK.
Obviously the passenger was incorrect when he said "you're OK" right before they rolled
Also interesting that the airbags didn't deploy.
Guess that's why he spent so much time as a test driver, right

I thought he said "No way."

Easy now Harleigh! Gregs hearing is not what it used to be before he started driving a race car
Yep, it was "No [f'ing] way". Mr P was well outside the envelope before he entered the brake zone. Odd that his reactions were typical of an early student - stab at the brakes, haul on the wheel. Guess he was busy discovering how 5000# of steel on tiny tires really handles!

I thought the owner was going to sock him one right before he pats him on the back and asks 'you allright man'. Now THAT would have been funny.

Everyone seems to think the guy in the right seat is an instructor, but I'm with you, Charlie. I think it is either the owner, or a Jaguar exec type out for a corporate track day with the expensive talent. More expensive than they expected, eh?

Did you notice how well the stock seatbelts worked in a pretty nasty roll and hit!!Porsches are stronger than that as well!!. Remember the passenger was a Brit, so of course he was concerned and polite. You don't see what happens when they get out.

No way that was the owner in the right seat. I dont care who it is, even Mr Schuie, I'd deck him if he totalled my car.

It certainly had the look of being a "corporate" event... Jag test driver in new Jag products.
