Cool beans! Don't think I have seen my car in a track vid before. I have some M rear binders that fellow packrat Dave R gave to me from the rusty 73T of his (Thanks again Dave!) so the early and soft braking should be better but 3rd still needs to be gently babied into gear or it pops out. Makes dropping into the Karrosell or running up the hook fun when you don't know if you can get on the gas and plant the back or not. That is the reason for the wide out in the 180 and the slug work on the hock the second round and the tiptoe into the Karosell. Stiring the paint looking for 3rd.
I am slug slow coming onto the the bridge straight. Gotta get some rubber on the car and work on that one. Set of slightly used Hoos going on this week for the Glen...ordered a set of brass balls too.
Thanks Todd!

I'm sending that link to the CI with a note that says:

"See? I drive nice and slow when taking a lower run group student out in an higher run group. This clip clearly shows that any taunting is treated with disdain."

Ah c'mon Tony, I know you were driving your heart out in that Turbo and all, and that only my incredible skills allowed me to pass you.

That is exactly why I don't put any stock whatsoever in passing faster drivers anymore. I always assume they are just screwing around for some reason.

We indeed will have more fun and I will get it all on video.

The next thing you know you are going to start talking about 90 HP, and I am going to have to point out what a fata$$ Mike is and we will not mention the fact that I outweigh Mike by about 50lbs I imagine

You mean the drift car from Mid Ohio? That wasn't much fun. Should have most of the new suspension sorted by the Glen.

Naw, I will just do what everyone does to me . . . post video of your worst moment all weekend. I mean, we all know that all the minutes not shown on publicly posted video show immaculate, and much faster, driving.

I will see if I can keep up even a little at the Glen. If so, I will post some video. ;)

sorry Rob, it really wouldn't matter if you did get in black because I still would not be able to get any video of you. I find it hard to dial it back, and I don't think I could dial it back enough to let you pass me, or, after I did let you by, not harrass you right away for a pass ;) :)

Boy . . . you really have gotten a track buzz  Maybe I could drop back to white for a run or two! And the worst part for you is, that you can't even take any real pride in it even if you can keep up, since, after all, I am just running a n/a 150 HP 944  Damn, that is the single best thing about a low horsepower car!

A track prepped car against a stock 986s. I'd say that's an even match?

To phrase it differently than Dave, if I could keep up with or pass you, it would be all driver. If you passed me, it would be all car ;)

It makes me happy that TD is finally learning the way things work around here. I have skilz. You compensate with hp/brakes/suspension/whatever.

It's all part of the smooth package he has been working on. Rumor has it, he's wearing these around his neck in addition to wearing them on his rearview mirror.
